Privacy policy

Chronicle (crncl.app) helps you build in public: it tracks your posting streaks, plans your launches, and turns your work into content. This policy explains what we store and why.

What we collect

Your account: name, email address and password hash, or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google. Your content: check-ins, notes, drafts, launch plans, tasks and the settings you choose.

Connections you opt into: if you connect GitHub we read the repositories you grant to detect shippable moments. If you link Telegram we store your chat id to send you reminders. If you add social handles we fetch your public posts on those platforms to detect check-ins and measure performance. We never post on your behalf.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, run ads, or share your content with anyone. Payment details, if you ever subscribe, are handled by our payment provider and never touch our servers.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Convex (our backend provider) and processed by the services that power specific features: Resend for email, OpenAI for analysis you explicitly request (launch analysis, draft suggestions), and Telegram for reminders you enable.

Your control

You can disconnect any integration at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and all content tied to it. For anything else, email besckinder@gmail.com.
